ALICIA FLANNERY

In a simplified style with images plucked from the past Alicia creates artwork that is apart from any mainstream trend. Often using imagery from ‘Americana’ to either mock or connect with the memory of yesteryear.

Her illustrations have appeared in “Culinary Comics”, created by Jeff Rovin, along with American Cartoonist Ernie Colon (Casper the Friendly Ghost, Richie Rich). Featured at Big Apple Comic Con 2016.

Was commissioned by World Trade gallery to create a limited Edition Series of Iconic Buildings of New York City, 2013 - 2017.

In 2011 Alicia was commissioned to create a mural by the River Kids Community Mural Project with children who were affected by the events of September 11, 2001. The mural now hangs in the 9/11 Memorial Museum.

Alicia graduated from Pratt Institute and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
